MY JOURNEY

I’ve spent 20+ years as a producer, engineer, and songwriter working out of Nashville, New York City, and now Baltimore. I own and operate SongBuilder Studios in Catonsville, where we’ve produced 200+ projects spanning rock, pop, soul, R&B, and everything in between. Songs I’ve produced or co-written have been licensed in 60+ TV shows and placed on Discovery, TLC, MTV, Lifetime, and Fox. I have 300+ works registered with ASCAP, hold a 5-star rating across 40 client reviews, and am a member of the Grammy Producers and Engineers Wing (DC Chapter). I sit on the board of advisors for Studio Unknown and serve as VP of Operations for Maximus Music Group.

I’ve also spent over 20 years in sales as an Account Executive, with experience across mortgage, real estate, and running my own business. No matter the industry, my role has always been to build relationships, generate opportunities, and close deals. I thrive in the trenches of networking, prospecting, making calls, and managing a pipeline. What I’ve learned over time is that compassion, consistency, clear communication, and follow-through matter more than anything.

What ties all of it together is the same thing it’s always been: listen first. Whether it’s a client’s song or a client’s business problem, the answer is usually already in the room.

AUDIO. ALL OF IT.

Two decades of audio work across every format: music production, dialog recording, voiceover, broadcast, audiobooks, and commercial delivery. I’ve logged well over 10,000 hours behind the glass and I adapt as the tools evolve.

That experience translates directly into AI audio data preparation. Clean, properly formatted, well-labeled audio is the foundation of any machine learning model that depends on sound. I know what good audio looks like at the sample level and I know how to get it there. Noise reduction, restoration, editing, normalization, file formatting, and final delivery for AI training pipelines is work I’m built for.

If you’re a company building voice, speech, or audio AI and you need someone who actually understands what they’re listening to, not just running files through a script, let’s talk.

HUMAN FIRST

Outside of work, I’m a father of two and someone who values being present, both at home and in my community. I stay involved locally and have always had a deep connection to music and film, both of which have been a big part of my life for years. I try to approach life with a sense of balance. Staying grounded, practicing mindfulness and meditation, and remembering that there’s more to all of this than just business. At the end of the day, I’m just a person who believes in treating people the right way and showing up with intention in everything I do.
